Overview
The quality of the assessment center method (AC method) is ensured and further developed through the Swiss Assessment certification procedure. The standards set by the Swiss Assessment association and the checklist derived from them form the basis for the certification process. This is carried out by the following organisations:
- Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems SQS
- University of Zurich – Chair of Work and Organisational Psychology
In addition to the evaluation of the AC method, whereby requirements are either met or not met, the process is meant to stimulate further quality development. On the one hand, this is achieved through certification audits and the periodic renewal (every three years) of the Swiss Assessment certification, through recertification audits. On the other hand, companies that do not meet the requirements will be provided with instructions on how to proceed.
