Vision & Mission Statement

Vision

Swiss Assessment is the competence center for assessment center procedures in Switzerland. Swiss Assessment develops and formulates binding quality standards, thus enabling quality assurance for assessment center providers and users. The full members of the association are committed to these standards. The certified members guarantee the compliance with the standards in their daily work, they are certified through a multi-stage audit process (SQS and University of Zurich). The certified membership is therefore regarded as a recognised quality label. Swiss Assessment significantly contributes to the raising of awareness about assessment centers in Switzerland.

Mission Statement

Swiss Assessment’s goals and processes are based on the guiding principles below:

Quality thinking

The main goal of Swiss Assessment is to promote and ensure the quality of assessment center procedures in Switzerland. The members of Swiss Assessment are committed to the careful development, implementation and evaluation of assessment centers. In doing so, they meet the requirements set out by Swiss Assessment in the shape of its binding standards.

Awareness

Swiss Assessment aims to reach a high level of awareness of the assessment methods among professionals in human resources. This is achieved through active public relations. Swiss Assessment presents itself as the point of contact and information point for all questions regarding theory and practice of the various assessment procedures.

Collaboration

Swiss Assessment works with all companies, individuals and universities interested in the assessment center method. Swiss Assessment sees itself as a hub, bringing together different needs and skills.

Services

Swiss Assessment promotes the exchange of information among its members through regular association activities; it acts as a pool of ideas and a source of know-how. Furthermore, Swiss Assessment also runs professional training courses as well as project activities, organises conferences, prepares media reports and awards research contracts.

Values

The members of Swiss Assessment are committed to an open exchange of information, based on trust and fairness. Membership includes active participation. The information exchanged within Swiss Assessment is confidential and allows for knowledge to be transferred among members. Active sales activities by consultants within Swiss Assessment is not permitted.
